May / June - 2015
For the May/June issue of Hagerstown magazine, we decided to take a look at the hustle and bustle coming to town in the form of Wind Down Fridays, while also taking a exploring the plans for the downtown walking trail that will connect City Park to downtown. We also check out the worlds of the creative folks behind The Fine Arts Company, and those that have opted to raise funds for their artistic projects via the crowdfunding website Kickstarter. This issue also features the winners of our first ever creative writing contest and a preview of the 20th annual Western Maryland Blues Fest. If food is on your mind, we also tirelessly traversed the town to track down some of the best chicken wings Hagerstown has to offer. And when you’re done with that, this issue showcases a great new place to work off what you’ve eaten in the form of the Police Athletic League’s new obstacle course at Fairgrounds Park. And as always, there’s more in print than we’ve got room for on our website, so be sure to pick up a copy!
